We were so blessed to have our friends' (the Mulloy's) come to our house for Thanksgiving! They arrived late Monday night and were able to stay until Sat. morning! On Tuesday, it was really cold, but we braved going to the zoo! We were so glad we did because all of the animals were out and playing!
On Wednesday, we drove to see some church sites. We drove to Far West, MO first. This location has the original cornerstones for the Temple they wanted to build there. It was freezing outside! Then, we went to Liberty, MO to see Liberty Jail. This visitor center is awesome. The spirit is very strong here. Then we went to Independence, MO. There is a lot to see here, but we ran out of daylight. We went to the visitor center and the courthouse where the extermination order was signed. It was a great day!
On Thursday, we cooked all day (meaning we watched Stephen cook all day) and then ate a wonderful meal! Stephen really is an amazing cook.
On Friday, Stephen and I got to go to a couple of stores on black Friday, and then in the afternoon, we all went to the Combat Air Museum and Gage Park. Later that night, Bill and Leslie and Stephen and I went out to dinner to this diner/dive that Guy Fieri had visited for his show! The hamburgers were great! We love Guy Fieri!
They had to leave Sat. morning and it was a sad time! We love you, Mulloy's!
P.S. Take notice of the huge turkey leg on Connor's plate. It was hilarious, and he loved it!

So glad you had a fun Thanksgiving! I love this time of year. :) Alan cooked our feast as well, it's nice having husbands who cook, isn't it? I haven't seen you for a long time! When are we getting together? :) Hope you are doing well. What are your plans for Christmas?
