She is here!!!!!!!!!!!!

After all that waiting, about nine months, Charlotte McKenna Jones has arrived on time at the Jones household in Topeka Kansas. Mother and daughter are doing very well resting in the local hospital. Lindsay went in to the hospital around 6:45 this morning expecting that this would be the easiest labor to date. Benjamin took about two hours from start to finish and Lindsay said she felt great afterwards. This time it would not be so easy. the Dr. came into check her and said that the would break her water around 10:30 so some drugs could kick in. The nurse said she was not sure that was going to happen. The Dr. came back in around 11:30 to check Lindsay and break her water. He then said the baby might be a little high. They went and got the lookyloo baby thing that can see the baby. Yep she was in the wring position. Then the Dr. says well it looks like we will be having a C section. His bedside manner left a lot to be desired. The nurses were great. They always are though. After some discussion with the nurses and her almost useless husband, Lindsay decided that the best thing, the only thing really was to have the C section. being almost 40 weeks pregnant and very little room to turn the baby meant that even if they tried it would probably not work. If we went home the baby would probably not turn on her own and we would be right back to a C section only later. So Lindsay decided to go with it. They pot her ready and took her back. I was brought in after about fifteen minutes and when I walked in it was obvious they had started without me. Needless to say I have seen into my wife's soul. After about ten minutes they pulled out the baby, I looked over the sheet and saw there was no boy parts and told Lindsay that she had a little girl. Charlotte then cried and cried. Up to this moment we did not know what we were having. In fact Lindsay was almost certain that it was going to be a boy. We were both very happy to have another daughter in the family.
